Cookies and a Kiss

Loved it when I came home from school and my mom was in the kitchen and had cookies and a kiss waiting for me! Now I have passed that tradition on to my children and as the holidays approach, it just wouldn't be Christmas without making sugar cookies!

So many fun things you can do with the dough. Check out Deck The Halls Of Home With Joy
and see all the fun ideas they are cooking up in the kitchen! When you get ready to roll out your favorite sugar cookie dough why not make it easier with a handmade french rolling pin from Christmas Twigs . They are easy to maneuver, beautiful to display, and make the perfect gift for neighbors, teachers, or friends! Give a walnut or sugar maple french rolling pin along with a plate of homemade cookies and the recipe! Sure to please anyone special! Easy to clean and beautiful to display in the kitchen!

Create some magical memories with your children. Make up a batch of sugar cookie dough, mix up some frosting, grab small candies, sprinkles, etc... and have fun in the kitchen as a family! Give your creations away teaching your children the art of giving (and the fun too) ! Don't forget to make enough for your family to munch on for their hard work in the kitchen! Happy baking!
